A sales tracker built for barbers

Updated October 28, 2026

QuickBizTrack is a sales tracker for barbers. After each cut you tap who it was, tap the service, pick cash, card or digital, and log it. For a regular it is two taps. It keeps your totals, your regulars and your best days for you, and estimates how much to set aside for taxes.

Service buttons ready for barbers

A new account starts with these buttons on the Log screen, and you can add, remove and price them in Settings:

Log a cut between customers

The Log screen is a till: the amount shows big, the service buttons sit under it, and a number pad fills the rest. Tap Walk-in or a saved client, tap Fade or Line up, key the amount, choose the payment type and press Log. If you tap a regular, their last service and price fill in, so a repeat cut is two taps.

If most of your cuts have a set price, put the price on the button. Set the Fade button to $40 and tapping it fills in $40, so all that is left is cash, card or digital. Made a mistake? The Undo button on the message after each sale takes it back.

Know your regulars

Every saved client has a page with their total spent, number of visits, last visit and every sale. Walk-ins stay on the Walk-in button until you choose to save them. If you already keep clients in a spreadsheet, import the file and QuickBizTrack adds the clients, with phone numbers, for you.

The Numbers screen also lists regulars who are due back, for example "usually every 21 days, last here 30 days ago", with a button to log their next sale.

See what a week really looks like

The Numbers screen shows today against a typical day of that weekday, this week, and a month projection that follows your own busy and slow days. Barbers have a clear weekly pattern (a slow Tuesday, a packed Saturday), and the projection learns it from your sales instead of assuming every day is equal.

Taxes for self-employed barbers

A barber who rents a chair or owns the shop is usually self-employed. That generally means paying self-employment tax (15.3% on most of your profit) plus income tax, and the IRS expects estimated payments four times a year. A barber who is an employee of a shop is treated differently, so if you are not sure which you are, ask a tax professional.

The Taxes tab in QuickBizTrack applies a percentage you choose to the sales you have logged, quarter by quarter, and lets you enter yearly expenses such as chair rent and supplies. It is an estimate to help you put money aside, not tax advice.

What it does not do

QuickBizTrack does not book appointments, run payroll, track inventory, send invoices or file taxes. It records what you earn, quickly, and shows you how the business is doing.

What it costs

$9.99 a month after a 14-day free trial (a card is added to start the trial, and nothing is charged if you cancel before day 15). The tax estimate for barbers is on the Taxes tab; for a quick number, try the self-employed tax calculator and see the estimated tax due dates.

Common questions

What is the best way for a barber to track income?

Write down every cut when it happens, including cash. A sales log that takes a couple of taps per cut, like QuickBizTrack, is easier to keep up than a spreadsheet you fill in at night. Whichever you use, the habit that matters is logging each sale the same day.

How much should a barber set aside for taxes?

A common rule of thumb for self-employed people is 25% to 30% of profit, but it depends on your income. At $60,000 of profit a single filer owes roughly 22% for 2026 federal taxes, before any state tax. The free calculator on this site works it out from your own numbers.

Does it work if I rent a chair or booth?

Yes. QuickBizTrack records what you take in. Your chair rent is an expense, which you can enter as a yearly total on the Taxes tab so the estimate is based on profit instead of sales.

Can I bring my old sales over?

Yes. Save your spreadsheet, or an export from Square or Cash App, as a CSV and import it. QuickBizTrack finds the date, amount, client and phone columns, shows a preview, and the import can be undone.

What does QuickBizTrack cost?

$9.99 a month after a 14-day free trial (a card is added to start the trial, and nothing is charged if you cancel before day 15). One plan, everything included.
