A sales tracker built for food trucks and market sellers

Updated October 28, 2026

QuickBizTrack is a sales log for food trucks, pop-up cooks and market sellers. It records each order, catering job or market day (Lunch order, Catering, Market day, Event booth, Custom order) in a couple of taps, keeps tips on their own, and shows you which days and events pay. It is a sales log, not a point-of-sale system.

Service buttons ready for food trucks and market sellers

A new account starts with these buttons on the Log screen, and you can add, remove and price them in Settings:

Log the day, or log the order

A truck at lunch rush will not log every order by hand, and does not need to. Use whichever level fits: key the card reader's total for the day on the Market day button, or log catering and custom orders one by one. Either way you end the week knowing what you took in, by day and by event.

The first button says Walk-up for the customer you do not need to save. Add your own, such as Pre-order, Event or Wholesale, so the screen matches how you sell.

Which events and which days actually pay

The Numbers screen shows today against a typical day of that weekday, the week, and a month projection that follows your own busy and slow days. If Saturday markets bring in three times a Tuesday lunch, the projection learns it from your sales instead of assuming every day is equal. Use a note on each Event booth sale for the event name, and the History search finds it again.

Cash, card and tips

Choose cash, card or digital payment on each sale, and the Numbers screen shows how your money came in. Add tips in the Tip, date, notes, or refund section, with how each was paid, so cash tips in the jar are recorded and not forgotten.

QuickBizTrack does not calculate or file sales tax. Log the amount the customer paid, and keep your sales tax records the way your state requires.

Taxes for food businesses

A food truck or market seller who owns the business is generally self-employed: self-employment tax plus income tax, paid in quarterly estimates. Ingredients, packaging, permits, fuel, pitch fees and truck costs are expenses; enter the yearly total on the Taxes tab and the estimate is based on profit. It is an estimate, not tax advice.

What it does not do

QuickBizTrack does not book appointments, run payroll, track inventory, send invoices or file taxes. It records what you earn, quickly, and shows you how the business is doing.

What it costs

$9.99 a month after a 14-day free trial (a card is added to start the trial, and nothing is charged if you cancel before day 15). The tax estimate for food trucks and market sellers is on the Taxes tab; for a quick number, try the self-employed tax calculator and see the estimated tax due dates.

Common questions

Is QuickBizTrack a point-of-sale system?

No. It does not take payments, print receipts or manage menus. It records what you earn so you can see how the truck or stall is doing, and you can key in a day's total or log individual orders, whichever you prefer.

Can I track catering jobs separately from daily sales?

Yes. Log catering with its own button and save the customer as a client if they book you again. Their page shows the total and the date of their last event.

Does it work for tips in a jar?

Yes. Add the tip to a sale, or log a Tip on its own, and choose how it was paid. Tips are shown separately on the Numbers screen.

How much should a food business set aside for taxes?

Many self-employed people use 25% to 30% of profit as a starting point. At $50,000 of profit a single filer owes roughly 21% in 2026 federal tax, before state and sales tax. Your expenses change it, so use the free calculator for your own numbers.

What does QuickBizTrack cost?
