A sales tracker built for mobile detailers and car washes
Updated October 28, 2026
QuickBizTrack is a sales log for mobile detailers and car wash owners. When a job is done you tap who the car was for, tap the package (Full detail, Interior detail, Exterior wash, Wax, Headlight restore), key the amount and log it from your phone, standing next to the car. Repeat and fleet customers keep a history, tips are recorded on their own, and the app estimates how much to set aside for taxes.
Service buttons ready for mobile detailers
A new account starts with these buttons on the Log screen, and you can add, remove and price them in Settings:
- Full detail
- Interior detail
- Exterior wash
- Wax
- Headlight restore
Log the job before you drive to the next one
Detailing is paid at the car, often by someone who is already walking back inside. The Log screen is built for that moment: a big amount, your package buttons under it, and a number pad. Put your menu price on each button in Settings and tapping Full detail fills in the amount, so the job is recorded in a tap or two before you pack the van.
The first button says Drive-up for a customer you do not need to save, and you can add your own, such as Booked, Fleet or Dealer, so the screen uses the words you use.
Fleet accounts and the customers who book you every month
A dealer lot or a small fleet that books you every few weeks is worth more than a one-off wash. Save them as clients and their page shows their total, how many jobs you have done and when you were last there. The Numbers screen lists regulars who are due back, such as "usually every 30 days, last here 41 days ago", which is your cue to send a message.
Tips from a driveway customer
In the Tip, date, notes, or refund section you can add a tip to the sale and say how it was paid, for example the detail on card and the tip in cash. The Numbers screen then shows your tips for the month on their own, so you can see what is wages from customers and what is the price of the job.
Taxes when you run your own detailing business
A detailer who works for themselves is generally self-employed, which means self-employment tax plus income tax, paid in quarterly estimates. Supplies, chemicals, pads, water, fuel for the van and insurance are expenses; enter the yearly total on the Taxes tab so the set-aside estimate is based on profit instead of sales. It is an estimate for planning, not tax advice.
What it does not do
QuickBizTrack does not book appointments, run payroll, track inventory, send invoices or file taxes. It records what you earn, quickly, and shows you how the business is doing.
What it costs
$9.99 a month after a 14-day free trial (a card is added to start the trial, and nothing is charged if you cancel before day 15). The tax estimate for mobile detailers is on the Taxes tab; for a quick number, try the self-employed tax calculator and see the estimated tax due dates.
Common questions
How do mobile detailers keep track of income?
Log every job when it is paid, including cash and tips. A tool that takes a couple of taps from your phone at the car, like QuickBizTrack, is easier to keep up than a notebook or a spreadsheet you fill in at night.
Can I record a tip separately from the price of the detail?
Yes. Add the tip in the Tip, date, notes, or refund section and choose how it was paid. The sale keeps the whole amount the customer paid, and the tip is shown on its own in History and on the Numbers screen.
Can I keep my fleet customers separate from drive-ups?
Yes. Save a fleet or dealer account as a client to get a history and total for them, and leave one-off customers on the Drive-up button.
How much should a detailer set aside for taxes?
Many self-employed people start with 25% to 30% of profit. At $60,000 of profit a single filer owes roughly 22% in 2026 federal tax, before state tax, and your expenses lower it. The free calculator on this site works it out from your own numbers.
