A sales tracker built for dog walkers, groomers and pet sitters

Updated October 28, 2026

QuickBizTrack is a sales log for dog walkers, groomers, pet sitters, trainers and boarders. After a visit you tap whose pet it was, tap the service (Dog walk, Grooming, Pet sitting, Training session, Boarding), key the amount and log it. Each client keeps a history, so a regular who pays every week takes two taps.

Service buttons ready for pet service providers

A new account starts with these buttons on the Log screen, and you can add, remove and price them in Settings:

Built for the client who pays you every week

Most pet income comes from the same households over and over: the Tuesday walk, the monthly groom, the holiday boarding. Save each household as a client and tap their name on the Log screen; their last service and price fill in, so a repeat walk is two taps. Whose pet appears in the question at the top of the screen, which you can reword in Settings if you prefer "Whose dog?".

See who has gone quiet

Each client page shows their total, how many visits you have done and the date of the last one. The Numbers screen lists regulars who are due back, for example "usually every 7 days, last here 16 days ago". For a walking or sitting business that is the early sign that a client has moved to someone else, or is simply away.

Tips, refunds and the occasional cancellation

Holiday tips are real money for a pet business. Add a tip to a sale in the Tip, date, notes, or refund section and say how it was paid. If you give money back, for example for a missed visit, log a refund against that client: it comes off your totals on the day you refunded, and the original sale stays in the history.

Taxes for pet care owners

A walker, sitter or groomer working for themselves is generally self-employed. That means self-employment tax plus income tax, paid in quarterly estimates. Mileage, supplies, insurance and bonding are common expenses; enter the yearly total on the Taxes tab and the set-aside estimate uses your profit. It is an estimate, not tax advice.

What it does not do

QuickBizTrack does not book appointments, run payroll, track inventory, send invoices or file taxes. It records what you earn, quickly, and shows you how the business is doing.

What it costs

$9.99 a month after a 14-day free trial (a card is added to start the trial, and nothing is charged if you cancel before day 15). The tax estimate for pet service providers is on the Taxes tab; for a quick number, try the self-employed tax calculator and see the estimated tax due dates.

Common questions

What is the best way for a dog walker to track income?

Record each walk or visit when the client pays or when you finish it, with the client and the amount. A log that takes a couple of taps per visit and keeps a page for each client, like QuickBizTrack, is easier to keep up than a spreadsheet.

Does it schedule walks or send reminders?

QuickBizTrack does not book appointments, run payroll, track inventory, send invoices or file taxes. It records what you earn, quickly, and shows you how the business is doing.

Can I record boarding or a multi-day stay as one sale?

Yes. Log the stay as one sale with the Boarding button, and type the total on the number pad. Add a note with the dates if you want them in the client's history.

How do I record a refund for a missed visit?

Open Tip, date, notes, or refund, turn on Log a refund, choose the client and enter the amount. It is matched to their sale and taken off your totals on the date you refunded.
